PMTA conference presentation

This presentation will focus on the pedagogical value of Benjamin Britten’s Young Apollo, a piano concerto suitable for an early advanced student. Until now, only an open orchestral score has been available as accompaniment; the presenter has arranged the first ever self-published second piano part, and has edited the original solo score to fix errors in the only existing edition. The presentation will include a live performance.
